George Ioannou was born in Johannesburg in 1972. He studied at the University of South Africa and obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Marketing and Finance through Correspondence in 1998 and also obtained a Masters of Business Administration from the Athens Laboratory of Business Administration (A.L.B.A) in 2006.  Further studies include a Diploma in digital Marketing (2017) as well as Life and business coaching diploma (2010)

George is a dynamic and determined leader with deep experience in establishing and developing diverse businesses in a multinational environment.  His focus is on Sales, Marketing, Finance and Operational expertise and covers a broad spectrum of customer and trade value chains. These include Spirits and Wines, F.M.C.G, Retail Franchise, Hospitality, Alcoholic beverages and Education.

He has served as President and Managing Director of The EUROGNOSI Language Centre Franchise from 2006 – 2014, Commercial Director of Allied Domecq Greece from 1997-2006 and has run and part owned other various businesses including McDonalds, Ocean Basket and Santa Maria Beach Resort.

George has played rugby in Greece since 1993 and was one of the founders of the Aticca Springboks Rugby team in Greece in 2002, President and founder of The Greek Rugby Association in 2013 as well as successfully setting up the Panathinaikos Rugby team in 2013. He also played Waterpolo for the South African U21 team in 1993 as well as Panathinaikos Waterpolo in 1994.

Melbo Lambrou was born in London. She attended Cordwainers College in London where she studied art & footwear design and graduated in 1984 alongside well-known shoe designers, namely Jimmy Choo & Patrick Cox.  Melbo was first employed by H&M Rayne Limited, The Royal Shoemakers where she designed shoes for the Queen and other members of the Royal family including Princess Diana’s wedding shoes.  Melbo then moved on to work for Lambert Howarth Global the largest footwear importers in the UK and main supplier to Marks & Spencer where she was fortunate to of been able to travel the globe and was given the position of Design Director.  Melbo also established her own company called Melbo Shoes and Melbo Couture of which had two retail outlets in London.

In 2007 Melbo moved out to Cyprus with her family where she developed her creative & artistic passion into teaching children and young adults. Starting off with teaching art through English language and preparing students for IGCSE and IELTS courses. Melbo also took on the responsibilities of supervising the boarding school at the American Academy in Limassol and became the art teacher for key stage 3.  She also tutored students to enter Cyprus, European and international art competitions which included ‘International Peace Poster where they won the 3rd prize and the European stamp art collection where they won the 2nd place as well as many other merits.

Melbo has always enjoyed working with children and her aim is to inspire and motivate children and students of all ages. Her daughter joined The Anorthosis Basketball Club in 2015 and Melbo instantly became hooked with all aspects of this new and challenging environment where she shares her natural enthusiasm and abilities.
